CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS — Showtime delivered a commanding performance to secure third place in the Blackett-Pemberton Football Series, defeating South Stars 4–1 on Tuesday evening, September 8, at the ET Willett Park.
Hosted by the Bath United Football Club, the tournament’s finals night kicked off with Showtime taking early control. Showtime dominated the opening half, building a comfortable 3–0 lead before the break. They extended their advantage in the second half with a sensational long-range strike to make it 4–0.
South Stars managed to pull one back late in the match, capitalising on a goalkeeper error to earn a penalty, which Shari calmly converted. Despite the late consolation goal, Showtime held firm to seal the 4–1 victory and lift the third-place trophy.
