Ugo Ugochukwu Makes History as First Nigerian-American to Win FIA Formula 3 Championship

Nigerian American racing driver Ugo Ugochukwu has been crowned the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Champion after finishing second in the final Feature Race at the Madring circuit in Madrid, Spain, on September 13. Driving for Campos Racing, the 19 year old secured the championship by finishing ahead of British rival Freddie Slater, ending the season 14 points clear at the top.
