The Best And Worst Of Celebrity Wax Figures
Madam Tussauds Las Vegas did justice to Usher with his new statue, reminding us of some of the best (and worst!) of celebrity wax figures.

A good wax figure will have you doing a double take just to make sure you aren’t looking at the real thing. A bad one, well, let’s just say it’d be more of a compliment to simply melt it back down.
Thankfully, Madam Tussauds Las Vegas recently gave R&B king Usher one of the best celebrity wax figures we’ve ever laid eyes on. Take a look for yourselves below:

“It looks more like me than me,” Usher joked while gushing over himself, complimenting the eyes and attention to detail in recreating one of the most memorable stage outfits worn during his My Way: The Vegas Residency. Those who were lucky enough to attend will fondly remember his Vanson Heart Skeleton Biker Jacket by Moda404 in ATL, paired with a custom glove, shiny red skates and the signature “U” chain he’s been rocking since the early 2000s. “I hope that my fans who did not get a chance to see that show get a little glimpse of the magic that was there from my first Vegas residency,” he added in his praise for the uncanny resemblance, and we couldn’t agree more.
While Usher is one of the handful who got done right, there are plenty of others who didn’t have the same luck when it came to their wax renditions. From noses that are a bit off and skin tones that are either too light or too dark, to head molds that simply didn’t meet the mark in the least bit, we’ve definitely seen our fair share of bad wax. On the other hand, Ursh is in good company with a select few that were constructed to perfection.
