A Hodges Bay man was robbed of his wallet, mobile phone and cash after being confronted by two men, one apparently armed with a gun, on South Street on Tuesday night.
According to reports, the incident occurred at about 11 p.m. on 27 October as the man was walking from a casino towards the West Bus Station.
A man dressed in dark clothing reportedly approached the victim and asked whether he wanted a taxi. He then allegedly led the victim onto a by-road off South Street, where a second man approached.
The second man allegedly pointed what appeared to be a black firearm at the victim and demanded his valuables.
The victim reportedly handed over his wallet, containing his Social Security card, along with a phone and cash.
The second suspect was described as slim, approximately five feet 11 inches tall, and wearing a red shirt, long blue jeans and a mask covering his face.
Both suspects reportedly fled east. A search of the surrounding area for suspicious persons was conducted, but no one was found.
