Algerian telecommunications operator Djezzy has signed a framework agreement with the Union Générale des Commerçants et Artisans Algériens (UGCAA) to support the digital transformation of traders and artisans across Algeria.
The partnership is aimed at helping vendors and business owners adopt digital solutions while contributing to the development of Algeria’s wider business ecosystem. Through the agreement, Djezzy said it will strengthen its support for economic stakeholders and contribute to the country’s broader digitalisation efforts.
The collaboration forms part of Djezzy’s efforts to promote digital innovation and create a more connected business environment in Algeria. The partnership with UGCAA is expected to support traders and artisans as they adapt their activities to an increasingly digital economy.
Djezzy also served as an official sponsor of UGCAA’s 70th anniversary celebration, which was held at the CIC in Algiers.
The telecom operator said its involvement in the anniversary event further reflects its commitment to supporting Algeria’s business community and advancing the digitalisation of commercial activities.
