SURREY Police Service (SPS) and Surrey Fire Service (SFS) are investigating an early morning RV fire in which the body of a deceased man was found.
Shortly after 7 a.m. on Sunday, September 20, SPS officers responded to a request from Surrey Fire Service to assist with an RV on fire in the area of 94 Avenue and 184 Street. During their efforts to extinguish the fully engulfed RV and search it for any victims, SFS members discovered an adult man, who was deceased.
SPS’s Arson Investigation Support Team has been called in to investigate and will be working with the coroner, and fire investigators to determine if the death is suspicious. Investigators will also be working to determine the cause of the fire.
