VP JALLOW PRESIDES OVER OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF STUDENTS REVOLVING LOAN SCHEME, ENDOWMENT FUND

The Students Revolving Loan Scheme (SRLS), operating under the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MoHERST), is holding its official launch alongside the SRLS Endowment Fund at the Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre.

The ceremony, presided over by Vice President Mohammed B.S. Jallow, marks a significant step in the government’s efforts to expand access to higher and tertiary education in The Gambia.

The initiative is intended to provide financial support to students pursuing higher education, particularly those who may face difficulties meeting the costs associated with their studies.

The establishment of the Endowment Fund alongside the loan scheme is expected to strengthen the initiative’s financial sustainability and support its long-term objectives.
