Protesters Ejected From Ken Paxton Rally, Which Was Really A Trump Rally, Apparently
A crowd of protesters also showed up to the rally to heckle Trump's human footrest, but they got ejected before they got to listen to an hour or so of corny fearmongering and culture war pandering.

Despite the fact that Senate GOP nominee Ken Paxton was recently caught on an audio recording saying President Donald Trump’s lame and desperate “Trumpapalooza” event in Dallas did more harm than good to the polling of Republican candidates, including his own, Paxton and Trump were bosom buddies once again during a rally in San Antonio, Texas, last Wednesday.
It’s as if these people have developed an insatiable addiction to shooting themselves in the foot, and I’m not saying they should stop doing it; I’m just saying it couldn’t be me keeping my head placed firmly up the backside of someone who mocked the way I look right in front of me while his audience laughed.
Imagine me letting Trumple-weird-skin call me ugly, and I just sit there and take it.
Anyway, a crowd of protesters also showed up to the rally to heckle Trump’s human footrest, but they got ejected before they got to listen to an hour or so of corny fearmongering, culture war pandering, and other assorted MAGA propaganda in a desperate bid for Republicans to maintain power after the midterms.
From CBS News:
The hecklers were ejected from the venue by authorities or appeared to walk out after interrupting the rally, drawing jeers from the crowd at San Antonio’s Freeman Coliseum as Mr. Trump mocked the protesters.
The sheriff’s office said they did not make any arrests, and all individuals were asked to leave the premises. Two people were issued criminal trespass warnings, the sheriff’s office said.
It’s the president’s third trip to Texas in recent weeks to support Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton, who is facing a tougher-than-expected contest against Democratic candidate James Talarico.
Less than 10 minutes into Mr. Trump’s speech, a person stormed away from the stage while yelling. At one point, a man in a red hat grabbed that person’s hair and appeared to get into a physical altercation, leading other rallygoers to separate the two. After the person walked out of the venue, the president asked: “Is there anything like a Trump rally?”
“He’s going back home to mom right now,” the president said. “What he doesn’t know is that his mom voted for Trump.”
Oh, so it’s a “Trump rally” now, huh? I wonder how Paxton feels about getting second billing in a rally for his own Senate campaign. Trump is basically the spoiled kid who wants presents on someone else’s birthday, and Paxton is the kid whose birthday it is, but he’s like, “Here, you can have mine. I didn’t even want that train set I spent months begging my parents for anyway!”
Of course, the problem could be that Paxton needs to grow a personality before he can outshine the most unpopular president in U.S. history, who millions of citizens across the country have come out to protest multiple times.
Here’s what Paxton looks like when he’s trying to sound cool.
“Where do you think they hid that little socialist,” Paxton said, referring to his opponent in the race, Democrat James Talarico, who Trump called on to debate Paxton this week, as if it’s Talarico who has been ducking debates since his campaign began. “So, I want you to help me because the media hasn’t really been asking, ‘Where is he.’ They would be asking where I was after two minutes.”
Then Paxton led a call-and-response with his crowd, directing them to ask the media in unison, “Where is James Talarico?”
First of all, I’m sorry, but has Paxton gotten his opponent confused with GOP Sen. Mitch McConnell? Because he’s already a member of the U.S. Senate — well, kinda.
As far as anyone knows, Talarico hasn’t been MIA, and again, Paxton, like most Texas GOP candidates in statewide races, has been declining to debate the man he’s running against until now.
And that hasn’t gone unnoticed by those in the comments on his tweet sharing the footage of his challenge.
November is coming sooner rather than later, good people. Let your voices be heard!
