Two Congolese nationals arrested for unauthorised access to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Summit have each been granted R10,000 bail in the Durban Magistrate’s Court.
Tshibindi Mukendi and Tombisa Ngangu face charges of fraud, trespassing and contravention of the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act.
This, after they tried to enter the venue using accreditation issued to another person.
The court has imposed strict bail conditions for the two.
They have been instructed to report to the Brooklyn Police Station in Pretoria every Friday and hand their passports over to the state until they return to court on the 1st of October.
