Comment on Why has President Bio appointed Karefa Kargbo as Sierra Leone’s finance minister by Jusu Yama

I don't know Karefa Kargbo personally, however if the people of Sierra Leone can vote Bio to rule them, why does Mr. Bangura question Karefa Kargbo's appointment to head the Finance Ministry. I have read that after his military career, Mr Karefa Kargbo pursued studies in Economics and Accounting. Based on his new skills and education, former president Koroma appointed him to manage the Petroleum Extraction unit. Since president Bio came to power in 2018, his finance ministers included J J Saffa who read Economics, Denis Vandi who read Agriculture, Sheku Fantamadi who read Auditing and now Karefa Kargbo who read Economics and Accounting. Certificate and experience wise, I believe that only Fantamadi tops Karefa Kargbo in the field of Economics and Accounting. Karefa Kargbo like many of his NPRC colleagues were in their early 20s when they were entrusted to fight a brutal war to keep Salone safe. They were poorly supported by the Momoh government that had learned men. They did what they did and today we are enjoying the democracy that they sacrifice their life for by removing a one party government that wanted to stay in power using the war as a pretext.
