Bantu Nots Releases Third Single “B11NG0” Ahead of 16-Track Mixtape. Johannesburg rapper Bantu Nots, also known as Big Bantu, has released “B11NG0”, the third single from his upcoming 16-track mixtape of the same name, as he continues to build anticipation for one of his most personal projects yet.
The release follows closely behind “Yenza” and arrives just days before the full B11NG0 mixtape drops on 3 September 2026. More than another stop on his rollout, the title track reinforces Bantu Nots’ intention to turn his experiences, identity and connection to Johannesburg into the foundation of his next musical chapter.
The title B11NG0 is a deliberate reference to 011, Johannesburg’s iconic telephone area code, flipped backwards to create a name that feels unmistakably rooted in the city. For Bantu Nots, however, the connection goes beyond a clever title. “The city made me. The city hears me,” he has said, describing the project as “Girls Radio”, a concept centred around the pulse, ambition and unfiltered character of Jozi.

“This project cost me more than music. It cost me tears, a home and people I once called family. I had to lose the old version of myself to become the artist I was meant to be.”
