Trump Spews Racism And Fetishizes Nicki Minaj, Who Has Clearly Lost Her MAGA-Fied Mind

A Donald Trump rally is a modern-day Ku Klux Klan rally. There’s no two ways about it. And Nicki Minaj — sis, you OK?

Here’s the thing: we are smack in the middle of an era of U.S. politics that needs to be documented and studied as thoroughly as possible, because someone will try to rewrite this time in history. MAGA America won’t want to abide by history books that reflect a time when the U.S.’s standing in the world has tanked, respect for the office of the presidency has become nonexistent, presidential scandals make Watergate look like shallow-rain-puddle-gate, Klan rally-level hate speech from behind a podium is normalized, and the stupidest people America can offer are running the country.

Of course, history revisionists will have a problem: it’s all on camera. There’s no hiding what a rally put on by President Donald Trump is: bigotry, buffoonery, and absurd, easily debunked lies spread from the MAGA pulpit.

So, let’s get into the latest roundup of Trump rally shenanigans, starting with the latest token begging to get spent,  Nicki Minaj.

On Sunday, Trump was campaigning in Port Huron, Michigan, where he did a lot of xenophobic and Islamophobic propaganda spreading, a lot of lying about elections and his economic record, and, after all of that, he sent a message that should have made it clear to Minaj that all she will ever be to the MAGA movement is a pair of cheeks.

Well, to be fair, he started talking about some guy’s ass he was checking out before moving on to Nicki’s.

“I looked at his ass, and I’ve never done that with a man before,” Trump said, likely before realizing he was saying things that were supposed to be said only on his “John Barron” Tinder profile. Then he quickly pivoted to Nicki.

“By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before: Nicki Minaj. That’s hard to miss,” he said, using his accordion hands to describe her posterior, before telling her to “stand up” and show her ass off to his laughing audience.

Seriously, how could she not feel like MAGA’s new mammy in that moment? Imagine coming to the rally in what was basically a business suit, going through the full effort of looking professional and like a person who takes herself seriously, only to be immediately fetishized by an old, racist white man, reduced down to your hind parts, and instructed to do the twirl for a largely white audience, which clearly views you as a cheap novelty act to be objectified and gawked at.

But, of course, Nicki is no victim; she’s a willing participant who is showing the Barbz in real time what an absolute airhead she is, even going as far as to insinuate that Trump could possibly run for a third term, saying, “I will support you forever and ever. If you run again, I will support you again.”

Meanwhile, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung is out here floating the idea of making Minaj the new White House Press Secretary to replace Katie Zacharia, who lost her job after only five days because reading aloud is hard and passing the bar exam is harder.

So, basically, Nicki would be the blonde, replacing the other blonde, disguised as the other blonde, because we’re already living in the stupidest timeline, so — what the hell — the White House might as well become a parody of Tropic Thunder.

Anyway, let’s move on to the part of the rally when Trump was essentially campaigning for Democrats by basically admitting that gas is high and he doesn’t “give a damn” because “we’re making money like we’ve never made before.”

Of course, he tried to clean it up by lying that people “paying more under Biden and Obama,” a claim anyone who bothered to Google gas prices when both presidents left office could easily debunk.

Again, Trump is, as usual, saying things he has to know only his idiotic, inconceivably gullible audience would believe. Sure, they’ll applaud him when he says, “We’re making money like we’ve never made before,” but everyone else in the country who is not a member of the uber rich, can read a grocery store receipt and is not willing to ignore what their bank balance says, is responding to that claim by asking, “Who TF is ‘we’?”

But of course, Trump knows the easiest way to distract his constituents from how perpetually broke they are under his watch: be obscenely bigoted by finding a group of Black or brown people to redirect their anger at.

“98% of the people here now from Somalia don’t work,” the president of the United States erroneously claimed, based on zero statistical evidence, as usual. “They don’t have to work because they steal so much. They all have a Mercedes-Benz. Low IQ, and they live better than you do.”

I mean, this is a tried-and-true Klan rally approach to getting white people up in arms and filled with hate for anyone who doesn’t look like them. It’s the type of white hate rhetoric that prompted lynchings and other violent, murderous attacks on Black communities for generations.

And in case anyone thinks I’m being hyperbolic when I say Trump is echoing Klan sentiments against “anyone who doesn’t look like them, here he is essentially saying: bring on the white Europeans, and keep those dirty Black Africans, because I’ve already made it clear that the only Africans acceptable here also need to be white.

“Anybody that would like to come into our country from Denmark, I’m all for it. But Somalia, I’ve had it with them,” Trump — who has referred to the entire Somali nationality as “low-IQ” numerous times — said.

Meanwhile, Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed is, according to Trump, a “jihadist,” whom the president linked to the 9/11 attacks, which obviously had nothing to do with El-Sayed.

 From the Washington Post:

Trump also accused El-Sayed of being a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. El-Sayed has disavowed the organization, and no evidence has been provided to show he has had any affiliation with it.

At his rally in Port Huron, Trump invoked the story of Todd Beamer, who died on Sept. 11, 2001, on United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Beamer, a Michigan resident, was one of the passengers who thwarted the terrorists’ effort to hit their presumed target, the U.S. Capitol.

“Twenty-five years later, Michigan needs to stand up and fight just like Todd did to stop a jihadist,” Trump said.

It’s almost like the president was trying his best to one-up is last racist rant against El-Sayed, when he said, “His name is actually Abduladadalalalala. It’s Adulbabababababa Mohammed Al-Sayed. So his middle name is Mohammed. So I was right. He’s a jihadist.”

Bigotry and lies, y’all — that’s all this president and his party have to run on. Remember that on election day.
