Tina Knowles is continuing to honor Dolly Parton following the country music legend’s heartbreaking death on Aug. 25. In her latest tribute, shared Aug. 30, Knowles praised Parton for seemingly “manifesting” Beyoncé’s hit-making cover of her classic song “Jolene” years before the rendition was ever released.

Five days after Parton’s death, the 72-year-old Knowles posted a clip to Instagram from Parton’s 2022 appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. During the interview, host Trevor Noah asked Parton for an “update” on her longtime hope that Beyoncé would one day record “Jolene.”
