By Zoila Palma: Minister of Agriculture Rodwell Ferguson is at the University of California, Davis (UC Davis) participating in discussions on agricultural diseases and research, including citrus greening.
Ferguson said the talks also covered diseases and fungi affecting bananas, sugar and other crops, with a focus on strengthening cooperation in research and development.
“Looking forward for a fruitful cooperation,” Ferguson said following the discussions.
UC Davis is internationally recognized for its agricultural research, education and outreach, addressing issues related to agriculture, food systems, the environment and public health.
