Jake And Logan Paul Showed Up At The Pentagon & We Have Questions

Pete Hegseth apparently decided the Pentagon needed a little brotherly energy.

The Defense Department confirmed Jake and Logan visited the Pentagon on September 17, toured the building, visited the 9/11 Memorial and briefly met with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. They also spoke to military personnel. According to the Pentagon, the brothers covered their own transportation expenses. So, I guess they did not get paid.
What has not been explained is why Jake and Logan were chosen for the visit.
That’s the part generating questions. WTF are they to do this?
Neither brother has served in the military. Logan became famous through social media before expanding into podcasting, WWE and business. Jake traveled a similar road before establishing himself as a professional boxer and promoter. They literally do not have any relationship to combat from a military perspective.
Their message inside the Pentagon was straightforward.
“Each one of you matter,” Jake told them. “Take this moment and be proud of yourselves for what you do.”
Logan praised the sacrifice made by service members, saying, “I don’t think there is any greater commitment to sacrifice than those who are willing to live, die, and fight for their country.”
So this wasn’t Jake challenging a retired champion or Logan flying through the air at WrestleMania. They were standing inside the Pentagon talking to the people charged with defending the United States.
Then there is the political side of this.
I know you saw Jake appear alongside President Donald Trump during a March event in Kentucky. Trump publicly encouraged the boxer to consider running for office someday.
This ain’t a simple celebrity tour. Smells like propaganda.
Maybe this was only an influencer driven morale visit. The Defense Department has increasingly worked with celebrities and high profile personalities as part of its public outreach. Smells like propaganda.
But until somebody explains exactly why the Paul brothers were selected to speak to America’s service members, people are going to keep asking questions. Or sniffing, because this smells like propaganda.
