By Zoila Palma: Major artificial intelligence platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude and Grok, experienced widespread service disruptions this morning leaving users across multiple regions unable to access or properly use the popular tools.
Downdetector showed sharp increases in outage reports affecting several AI services at around the same time.
OpenAI confirmed elevated errors affecting ChatGPT and Codex and said it had applied a mitigation while monitoring recovery.
Anthropic also reported elevated errors affecting several Claude models.
