Angel Reese Brought Jordyn Woods’ Lucky Orange Bag To WNBA Finals Game 5
Angel Reese wore the famous orange 'lucky bag' to WNBA Finals Game 5, carrying forward the Knicks' championship charm while sporting a 'Protect Black Women' message.

Angel Reese always serves the girls when she sashays through the tunnel. Her looks are straight from the runway, showing that she is not someone to play with on or off the court.
But tonight (Oct. 26), her fit wasn’t solely a fashion moment, trend, or cool style. The Atlanta Dream star used her most recent tunnel entry to give a nod to both sports and culture greatness. And as expected, the fans are eating it up.
Angel Reese’s Game 5 Fit Has The Girlies Talkin’: The Infamous Orange Lucky Knicks Bag & A Strong Message
Before Game 5 of the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries, Angel walked into Chase Center with a bright orange bag on her shoulder. Fans recognized it right away as the famous “lucky bag” from Jordyn Woods’ brand, Woods by Jordyn.
Even the brand chimed in. “Obsessed,” Woods by Jordyn commented under the WNBA’s arrival video on Instagram.
The rest of Angel’s fit kept things casual and comfortable. She wore a black T-shirt with “Protect Black Women” on it from Be The Roses, also known as BTR. She paired it with black flared pants, flat black thong sandals, and small dark sunglasses. Angel finished the look with a gold bracelet, a delicate necklace, and wired earbuds. She wore her hair pulled back in a long, curly ponytail.
Angel took a message we all know the importance of all too well and made a strong style and political statement. Highlighting this message during the WNBA Finals is one of the reasons why she remains that girl and one of our favorite rising stars.
Fans responded in the comment section of various blogs.
“Is that THEEE bag!? Let’s go!” one fan wrote under the WNBA Oct. 26 post. Another added, “SHE GOT THE KNICKS BAG YALL please give us 30 tn Angel!!”A third noticed her shoes. “She ain’t come to play today!!! No heels. She about to get busy!!!!!”
With the series tied 2-2, heading into Game 5, fans are reading the bag as Angel’s message to the world: the Dream are bringing the trophy home. Atlanta is chasing its first WNBA title, and Angel has been the key all series. In the Dream’s two wins, she scored 30 and 21 points.
Jordyn Woods Brings A Trophy Gold Version To The Knicks’ New Season
By now, you’ve heard of the excitement around Jordyn’s, and now Angel’s, orange faux ostrich bag. The Woods by Jordyn Tux Clutch Mini in “Summer Citrus” became a good-luck charm during the Knicks’ 2026 championship run. The Knicks’ only loss in the NBA Finals came in Game 3, when a no-bag policy kept it at home. After the title, the bag sold out and was almost retired in a sense when it went to the Guggenheim.
But Jordyn wasn’t done with her lucky bag just yet.
At the Knicks’ season opener against the Philadelphia 76ers on Oct. 20, Jordyn debuted the Tux Clutch Mini in a limited-edition “Trophy Gold.” She paired it with a tan suede jacket, layers of diamond jewelry, and a slicked-back ponytail. Karl-Anthony Towns posed with the gold bag, keeping their ritual going.
“I was just feeling the gold,” Woods told Essence. “I popped out with my new Woods by Jordyn bag in gold to honor the trophy.”
The gold bag is $155 and will be available at the Woods by Jordyn pop-up in SoHo on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
With gold riding with the Knicks now, maybe the orange bag is free to bring Atlanta some luck. Knicks fans, consider this a loan, but Angel is playing for keeps.
