3 police officers dismissed for ‘gross misconduct’
The disciplinary action follows separate incidents of misconduct, including the widely circulated video showing PC Alieu G. Camara behaving in a manner unbecoming of a police officer towards a shopkeeper. In accordance with the GPF’s disciplinary procedures, the three officers were formally charged and appeared before an Orderly Room hearing, where each pleaded guilty to the charges preferred against them. Their guilty pleas resulted in their dismissal from The Gambia Police Force with immediate effect.
