TABORA: THE Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) has today, July 14, 2026, visited Bashe Dairy Farm Limited Tanzania, a modern crop and livestock farm located in Uyui District, Tabora Region, to witness its milk production, processing and distribution operations from farm to consumer.
The visit, conducted on July 14, 2026, was led by AGRA Regional Director for Eastern and Southern Africa, Prof Jean Jacques Mbonigaba Muhinda, as part of a tour to assess beneficiaries of the Youth Entrepreneurship for the Future of Food and Agriculture (YEFFA) Programme being implemented by AGRA in Kigoma, Katavi, Rukwa and Dodoma regions.
Prof. Muhinda was accompanied by AGRA Tanzania Country Director, Vianey Rweyendela, SeedSAT Programme Officer, Peter Mbogo, RE-GAIN Programme Management Unit Manager, Assan Ng’ombe, along with other officials from the organisation.
Speaking during the visit, the owner of Bashe Dairy Farm Limited Tanzania and Nzega Urban Member of Parliament, Hussein Bashe, thanked AGRA for visiting the farm and witnessing its milk production and processing activities.
He urged the organisation to continue supporting development initiatives in the agriculture and livestock sectors to enable more farmers and livestock keepers to benefit, increase productivity and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
