By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating a burglary at the Atlantic Bank branch in Ladyville that caused damage to the building and its automated teller machine.
Investigators were called to the branch on Thursday, July 23, 2026, after signs of forced entry were discovered. Police say nothing of significance appears to have been stolen.
The ATM was damaged, apparently after the intruder or intruders had already gained entry to the building. Police have declined to reveal how the building was entered.
Scenes of Crime technicians processed the location and lifted several fingerprints that investigators hope will help identify those responsible. Atlantic Bank subsequently advised customers that the Ladyville branch was open and its ATM service had been restored.
