Future’s Brother FBG Casino Takes Fentanyl Plea Deal With 10-Year Minimum

Future’s brother FBG Casino is back in federal custody after pleading guilty in a fentanyl case carrying at least 10 years in prison.

TMZ obtained the plea agreement, which shows Casino admitted Thursday that he conspired to possess fentanyl with plans to distribute it. Casino, whose legal name is Rico Deville Buice, agreed to surrender $388,930 in cash, a Glock pistol, ammunition and a magazine.

The judge denied Casino’s request to remain free until his Jan. 7 sentencing and ordered him returned to custody. His charge carries a mandatory 10-year minimum, a possible life sentence and a fine reaching $10 million.

The case began with a Nov. 14, 2025, raid at a rental home in Forest Park, Georgia. Federal authorities said Casino ran through a side door when agents arrived, but officers caught him carrying about $4,000.

Investigators placed the fentanyl haul at 21 kilograms and found roughly $300,000 in bundled cash stacked throughout the home. Prosecutors linked Casino to a designer bag holding an extra $80,000 and said agents seized drug-packing and cash-counting equipment.

Agents arrested David Estevan Montillo Diaz at the property, and prosecutors accused both men of joining the same drug conspiracy.

The Dec. 10, 2025, indictment accused Casino and Diaz of knowingly joining a plan to distribute fentanyl. It alleged they “did knowingly and willfully combine, conspire, confederate, agree, and have a tacit understanding with each other and others known and unknown to the Grand Jury … to knowingly and intentionally possess with intent to distribute a controlled substance.”

Casino had secured a $100,000 bond while prosecutors fought to keep him jailed before trial. A judge rejected their challenge on Dec. 2, 2025, and allowed Casino to remain free under strict release terms.

U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg said, “The collaborative effort of different law enforcement agencies united in the fight to eliminate transnational criminal organizations kept a staggering amount of deadly fentanyl from hitting our streets.” He added, “The resulting charges send a strong message: fentanyl traffickers in our district may run, but they cannot hide.” “Instead, they will find themselves in federal custody, and their drugs and money seized,” Hertzberg said.

FBI Atlanta chief Paul Brown said, “The seizure of 21 kilograms of fentanyl and over $380,000 in drug proceeds is a direct hit to those who seek to poison our communities.” Brown added, “The FBI, in partnership with our law enforcement colleagues, will relentlessly pursue these criminals and hold them accountable.”

The raid was part of Operation Take Back America and involved the FBI, DEA and Clayton County Police Department.

Casino worked within Future’s Freebandz circle and appeared on “Move That Dope” alongside Future, Pharrell Williams and Pusha T.

Casino is scheduled to return to federal court Jan. 7, when the judge will impose his sentence.
