Fogging Schedule: September 7 to 11

The Ministry of Health and Wellness will resume its fogging programme in St John and Christ Church this week.

The Vector Control Unit will concentrate its mosquito reduction efforts in St. John for the first three days of the week before going into Christ Church.

On Monday, September 7, the following communities will be fogged: Glenburnie, St. Margaret’s, Martin’s Bay, Zoar’s, Fortescue, Blades Hill, Sherbourne and surrounding districts.

The next day, Tuesday, September 8, the Unit will spray Haynes Hill, Haynes Hill Tenantry, Sargeant Street, Society, Sealy Hall, Henley, Bowmanston, Small Town and environs.

It will be the turn of Stewart Hill, Massiah Street, Rosegate, Guinea, Ashford, Chimborazo, Braggs Hill and Parris Hill on Wednesday, September 9.

The team will turn its attention to districts in Christ Church for the remainder of the week.

On Thursday, September 10, it will target Ealing Park, Ealing Grove, Inch Marlow Nos. 1 to 5, Ocean Spray Development, Seaview Road No. 1, Chancery Lane Main Road, Old Chancery Lane, Upper Chancery Lane No. 2, Evergreen Road, Windy Ridge and Sealy Land.

The fogging exercise for the week will conclude on Friday, September 11, in South Ridge, Kent Ridge, Staple Grove, Warners Terrace, Warners Park, Warners Park North, Barracks Road and surrounding areas.

Fogging takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. daily. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter. Children should not be allowed to play in the fog. (BGIS)
