By Zoila Palma: Today, the Benque Viejo Town Council announced that following lobbying on behalf of the farmers, residents and road users who rely on the Mollejon Road leading to Mollejon Dam and Arenal Village, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH) team began road works today.
The Benque Viejo Town Council noted that the works will commence at the exit of Benque Viejo Town where the pavement ends and continue toward the Mollejon Dam.
“These much needed road works will greatly benefit the many farmers and residents in the area by improving accessibility and making travel safer and more reliable. The road improvement will also benefit the taxi operators and residents traveling to Arenal Village.
We want to thank the Julius Espat and his MIDH Team for their valuable assistance and commitment to the people of Cayo West,” the council expressed.
The Benque Viejo Town Council says that it remains dedicated to advocating for the needs of communities and working toward meaningful improvements that directly benefit residents.
