By Breaking Belize News Staff: Two men accused of posing as police officers during an armed robbery at a vapor shop on Daly Street have been released on bail.

Kenroy Amani Daly, 27, a security guard of Sarstoon Street, and Ahkeem Rashawn Danderson, 26, a labourer of Raccoon Street Extension, appeared before the Chief Magistrate and were each granted bail in the sum of $6,000, with two sureties of $3,000 each.

The men are jointly charged with falsely representing themselves as police officers, robbery, keeping unlicensed firearms and keeping ammunition without a licence. Daly is additionally charged with aggravated assault upon a police officer with a firearm.

Police allege that the two men entered the business armed with firearms and robbed the business of approximately $23,000 in cash, two boxes of vape products valued at $900, and a fanny pack containing personal belongings.

The suspects allegedly escaped on a motorcycle, prompting a police pursuit. During the chase, Daly is accused of firing at police officers but missing. Both men were subsequently detained.

Daly and Danderson met their bail conditions and are scheduled to return to the Belize City Magistrate’s Court on September 29, 2026.
