SNB Group and Mastercard announced the expansion of their strategic collaboration to further strengthen digital commerce capabilities for merchants across Saudi Arabia. SNB will continue to leverage Mastercard Gateway as part of Mastercard Merchant Solutions, Mastercard’s unified global payment platform that provides businesses with a single-entry point to a full suite of advanced capabilities and technologies designed to address their e-commerce needs. The collaboration will help SNB deliver secure, seamless and scalable commerce experiences while supporting merchants in meeting evolving consumer expectations and accelerating their digital growth.

Saudi Arabia has one of the region’s most dynamic e-commerce markets that is currently valued at $31.29 billion. This number is projected to reach $54.87 billion by 2031 with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.92%. Last year, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) launched a new e-commerce payments interface to keep pace with the rapid growth of the sector.
