By Zoila Palma: Members of Belize’s newly established National Commission for Persons with Disabilities held their inaugural working session this morning.
The session marks the beginning of the Commission’s work to advance issues affecting persons with disabilities and strengthen efforts toward greater inclusion and support.
The Ministry of Human Development, Family Support and Gender Affairs said the Commission will be officially introduced to the nation later today.
