Lil Durk Trial Day 6: OTF Jam Lays Out Assassination Plan, Says He Has No Respect For Rapper

Lil Durk spent Day 6 watching a longtime associate retrace the moments before gunfire killed Quando Rondo’s cousin outside a Los Angeles gas station.

Kacey “OTF Jam” Hester continued prosecution testimony about the August 2022 pursuit that ended with Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson dead.

Taylor Parise, reporting inside the courtroom for Los Angeles Magazine, described testimony that placed three vehicles behind Rondo’s black Escalade.

The group followed Rondo through stops at a dispensary and Beverly Hills clothing store before reaching the gas station beside the Beverly Center.

“I didn’t know what the Beverly Center was until my attorney told me,” OTF Jam testified.

He repeatedly warned jurors that he did not know Los Angeles well enough to identify every neighborhood or street along the route.

OTF Jam said the shifting plan made him uneasy and prompted him to contact DeAndre “DeDe” Wilson before the shooting began.

He wanted DeDe to stop the mission because DeDe was “close” with Durk and could deliver the message more effectively.

David “Browneyez” Lindsey then jumped from a stolen white Infiniti, which OTF Jam called the “hot car,” and moved faster than expected.

OTF Jam testified that he tried catching Browneyez because he expected the group to move nearer Rondo before anyone opened fire.

Instead, Browneyez began shooting so quickly that OTF Jam said the timing caught him unprepared as he attempted to close the distance.

Afterward, the group abandoned the Infiniti and entered a black Escalade before traveling to an In-N-Out restaurant, according to OTF Jam’s account.

OTF Jam said he could not remember entering that SUV, while an officer inside the restaurant made him nervous during the group’s food stop.

Parise also observed Durk and OTF Jam apparently looking toward each other across the courtroom shortly before the morning session began.

Durk’s attorneys requested a monitor adjustment before testimony resumed, allowing them a clearer view of OTF Jam’s face from the defense table.

“This may be hard to believe because of what I’m doing,” OTF Jam testified before lunch. “I still have love for him, I just don’t have no respect for him.”

OTF Jam’s testimony was scheduled to continue after the lunch break in Durk’s federal trial.
