By Zoila Palma: The Forest Department invites the general public to Climate Week under the theme “The Orange Economy and Technology”.
The event will be held at the Punta Gorda Sporting Complex on August 23, 2026 from 1:30pm to 5pm.
The discussion will include presentations on how the forests drive the orange economy, the Greening Belize app, human-wildlife conflict, and the technology transforming forest management.
The event will give the public an opportunity to learn about the role of forests, innovation and technology in building a greener Belize.
