50 Cent says he wants to visit Belize after making peace with Shyne

American rap superstar 50 Cent could be heading to Belize after publicly expressing interest in visiting the country following his reconciliation with former rival Shyne Barrow.

50 Cent made the comment on Instagram while reacting to Shyne discussing their recent reunion and the end of their decades old feud.

The G Unit frontman praised Shyne’s transformation over the years, writing that the Belizean politician had impressed him.

“I’m not gonna front shyne impresses me,” 50 Cent wrote. “world leader, he shown nothing but growth.”

But it was what came next that could generate even more attention in Belize.

“When I get some free time I’ll come to your country,” 50 Cent added.

The comments follow a chance reunion between the two former rivals in New York, where they reportedly crossed paths while dining at Serafina.

Shyne has since described the encounter as an example of his effort to extend olive branches to people with whom he previously had disagreements.

The relationship between Shyne and 50 Cent was once very different. Their feud stretched back to the early 2000s, when the two exchanged lyrical attacks and public jabs.

More than two decades later, 50 Cent is now publicly praising Shyne and talking about coming to Belize.

No date or formal plans for a Belize visit have been announced, and 50 Cent’s Instagram comment does not confirm that a trip has been scheduled.

Still, the possibility of one of hip hop’s biggest stars visiting Belize following the reconciliation is likely to generate plenty of attention locally.
