Dr. Claire Martin, an assistant professor in Webster University’s counseling department, has received the Ohana Award from the Counselors for Social Justice, a division of the American Counseling Association.
Martin also was elected president-elect of the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development, the association’s largest division. She will become president on July 1, 2027.
She recently presented research at the International Association for Wellness Counseling’s annual conference on the relationship between epistemic injustice, racial trauma and health outcomes.
