Thompson’s Police Stop Ends With A Prison Sentence

A judge in Iowa sentenced Thompson on Thursday to 30 months in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to a gun charge in April. According to prosecutors, officers pulled Thompson over nearly a year ago after he was allegedly driving 104 mph in a 70 mph zone. Authorities say a search of his bag turned up marijuana purchased from a dispensary and a loaded .40-caliber handgun that was allegedly stolen from a vehicle in Kansas City, Missouri.

Federal Sentence Adds Another Chapter To Thompson’s Record

Thompson is currently in U.S. Marshals custody while awaiting transfer to a federal prison and will serve three years of supervised release after his sentence. In addition to ‘That’s So Raven,’ Thompson has appeared in projects including ‘Role Models,’  ‘Me and Earl and the Dying Girl,’  ‘Shark Tale,’ ‘The Tracy Morgan Show,’ ’30 Rock,’ and ‘Wild ’N Out.’ Prosecutors also cited previous convictions from 2022 for battery causing serious bodily injury, assault, and prohibited firearm possession.

Fans Say Things Ain’t Adding Up

Folks ran straight to TSR’s Instagram comment section with thoughts. And, some are now wondering if there was more going on behind the scenes than viewers knew. Others said Thompson’s character was always bad on the show, so the news doesn’t surprise them. While plenty of fans were simply wanting him “Free” ASAP, no Rocky.
