Stanbic Kenya Foundation has launched a new Digital Learning Centre at ACK Kiamuringa School in Embu County, reinforcing its commitment to advancing digital inclusion through education. The initiative has equipped the school with 30 computers, establishing its first fully equipped ICT laboratory.
The new facility will benefit more than 200 students and 23 teachers, while also serving as a community digital hub. Beyond classroom learning, the centre will provide local youth with access to digital skills training, online learning resources, and opportunities to participate in Kenya’s growing digital economy.
The launch forms part of the FutureNiDigital initiative, through which Stanbic Kenya Foundation has been promoting digital literacy since 2019. The foundation said the programme has already equipped more than 250,000 Kenyans with digital skills, supporting efforts to build a more inclusive and digitally empowered society.
Stanbic Kenya Foundation said the investment reflects its ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for communities to learn, develop new skills, and thrive in an increasingly digital world.
