By Zoila Palma: Today, Meat Master issued a statement saying that it is aware recent media reports and public commentary concerning Meat Master’s product supply to the Belize Defence Force and Coast Guard.
“Because these reports contain inaccuracies about our business, we believe it is important to provide accurate information.
Meat Master was formally registered in 2022. The business was established out of a long-standing passion to producing and supplying quality meat products, with a particular focus on fresh, smoked, and processed meats. Since our establishment, we have invested significant time, resources, and effort into building our business. At no point has there has been ties to the Briceño family; not as part owners of the business nor as owners of the property,” the company said.
The company further added that in 2026, it was selected to supply various meat products to the Belize Defence Force and the Coast Guard.
“The selection was obtained through the established government tender process. We submitted all required bidding documents, satisfied the procurement requirements applicable to the tender, and were selected through that process. We also wish to state clearly that all invoices issued by our company accurately reflect the goods delivered,” Meat Master added.
Meat Master says that as a local Belizean business, their reputation has been built on hard work, quality products, and professional service.
“We remain committed to conducting our business with integrity and transparency.
We appreciate the continued confidence and support of our customers, employees, and suppliers. We remain focused on serving our clients and contributing positively to our community,” the company said.
