KCCA complete signing of midfielder Kasule

KCCA has confirmed the signing of creative midfielder Ibrahim Kasule on a two-year deal. The club announced the player’s arrival on Friday evening.

“KCCA FC is delighted to announce the signing of dynamic midfielder Ibrahim Owen Kasule on a two-year contract,” the club confirmed.

Kasule has played in the United States for the last three years, featuring for New York Red Bull II and most recently on loan at CT United in the MLS Next Pro. Before leaving Uganda in 2023, he had played for Wakiso Giants FC.

His arrival at KCCA is seen as a huge boost as the Lugogo-based side seek to end their hunt for glory.

Kasule is a versatile player who can ably play through the middle either as a number eight or as a number ten. He can as well drift to the flanks.

In his speech, Kasule believes this is a great opportunity to re-establish himself and hit the ground running again.

“For me, joining KCCA FC feels like coming to a club with great ambition. I have gained invaluable experience and exposure during my time in the United States and abroad, and I want to use everything I have learned to help this team achieve great things. The project here is exciting, and I cannot wait to play in front of the yellow army at Lugogo,” he said.

He becomes the fifth signing for KCCA in this window, joining Yunus Sibira, Charles Lwanga, Elvis Ngonde and Maxwell Owachigui.
