Heirs Insurance Hosts 1,000+ Retirees at Inaugural Lagos Meet-up, Launches Rewards Programme

Heirs Insurance Group,  Nigeria’s fastest-growing insurance group, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting retirees and promoting financial and social inclusion with the inaugural Heirs Insurance Retirees Meet-up in Lagos.

Held on Friday, August 21, 2026, the event brought together more than 1,000 retirees for a day focused on learning, wellness, networking and recreation.

The gathering provided a dedicated platform for retirees to engage in conversations around economic wellbeing, healthcare and social engagement, areas where the demographic is often under-represented.

The event featured expert-led sessions, complimentary health screenings, financial guidance and interactive activities designed to help retirees maintain their wellbeing, manage their finances and navigate life after active employment with confidence and dignity. It also included retirement planning support intended to serve participants throughout their lifetime.

Participants had the opportunity to connect with peers, exchange experiences and build social networks within a supportive community environment.

As part of the event, Heirs Insurance Group launched a dedicated rewards programme for its annuitants, extending its relationship with retirees beyond monthly annuity payments and reinforcing its focus on their long-term wellbeing.

Through the Heirs Insurance Rewards Programme, annuitants can access discounts from selected health and lifestyle partners.
