GOOD Party calls for a ‘pro-poor’ City of Cape Town

The GOOD Party has emphasised the need to make the City of Cape Town a pro-poor city.

GOOD leader and Minister of Tourism Patricia de Lille delivered they party’s provincial election manifesto in Athlone on the Cape Flats.

De Lille says Brett Herron is an appropriate candidate for City Mayor.

De Lille was herself Mayor of Cape Town for eight years for the DA.

“Brett has got the experience, he’s a lawyer by profession, he has also served at national Parliament and provincial Parliament. He understands how government works. And therefore, you know, to pick up where we left off in 2018, and try and bring the city ship back to being caring more about the poor people, the vulnerable people, deal with redress: that is Brett’s mission. And I, of course, will give him all the support that we can get.”
