Brixton’s not-for-profit arts organisation Bureau of Silly to host fundraising event, this Sunday 12th July 2026

The Brixton community is coming together tomorrow, Sunday 12th July, to save one of the last grassroots creative spaces in Brixton.

Bureau of Silly is a not-for-profit arts organisation housed in Brixton railway arches that has been served a break clause on redevelopment terms after they successfully challenged a proposed 155% rent increase.

Unfortunately, the closing of community venues under the lands of The Arch Company, is not a unique experience.

Here’s what you can expect tomorrow:

Brixton is gearing up for a full-tilt celebration of generosity, creativity, and pure chaos!

 

The community is coming together for The Silly Day Out Fundraiser to raise vital support for Saving Club Silly and BOSI. Expect an all-day, indoor/outdoor takeover across multiple stages in the vibrant Valentia Place artist compound for just £2 all-day entry!

 

A Stacked Lineup of Local Talent 

 

Eight of Brixton’s finest DJs are bringing the heat from morning until midnight. Catch Afrochick, Amantis, Cheeky Half, Emma the DJ and more, delivering a full spectrum of incredible sounds.

 

The lineup also features:

 

• Acoustic Guitar Sessions — Mitch Santiago & more exciting artist announcement coming shortly! 
• Open Mic Sessions — Step up, show out, and get silly. 
• The World Cup Quarter-Finals — Catch all the action live on the big screen. ● Free 10AM yoga class & other workshops — Silly doesn’t forget mindfulness.
