Simi shared that the woman had tweeted about Femi’s previous relationship, alleging how he treated his ex. In response, she calmly stated that having exes is normal, noting, ‘I’m somebody’s ex too.’

After the initial tweet, Simi mentioned that the exchange attracted more comments, with some accusing her of defending Femi. The woman then predicted that Simi’s relationship would end, saying it would ‘scatter.’

Simi responded to the prediction by saying, ‘I just made up my mind that, you say this relationship will scatter. I bookmarked it. I said, ‘I’ll be back.’ Not forcing it, but if God wants it.’ When she got engaged, she quoted the woman’s tweet saying, ‘Hi.’

Acknowledging her response might have been petty, Simi expressed that she kept the woman’s prediction in mind, and the couple’s eventual marriage made it a notable part of their relationship journey.
