Ronald Rugumayo heads to round three of the 2026 Uganda Golf Club (UGC) ladies open with a three strokes’ lead.

After the opening 36 holes action in two rounds, Rugumayo has played 9-under 135, three strokes better than second placed Tadeo Rodell Gaita.
On round two, Rugumayo played a flawless 5-under-67 to better the opening 4-under-68 score during the first round.




Phillip Kasozi (140), Andrew Ssekibejja (142), Grace Kasango (143), Deo Akope (143) and Abraham Ainamani (146) follow closely.
Irene Nakalembe (76, 73) is the only lady to have made the cut heading to round three.




Thursday, 30th July 2026 is a moving day as the professionals make it round three for 54 holes.
The professionals are playing for Ug.Shs 20,000,000 total kitty.
Meanwhile, the elite gross men will climax their action on the day as the ladies swing into action.
