Roke Telkom and Paratus Uganda Launch Starlink for Business in Uganda

Ugandan businesses now have access to Starlink’s high-speed satellite internet through a new partnership between Roke Telkom  and Paratus Uganda.

The two companies have officially launched Starlink  for Business in Uganda, combining Starlink’s satellite connectivity with local deployment, customer support and business expertise from the two telecommunications providers.

The partnership is aimed at giving businesses across Uganda more connectivity options, particularly organisations operating in locations where traditional terrestrial connectivity may be limited or unreliable.

Starlink’s low-latency, high-speed satellite network is expected to help businesses maintain connectivity, support remote operations and expand their digital capabilities across different locations.

Roke Telkom and Paratus Uganda said the service is designed to help Ugandan businesses connect and scale while keeping their operations running, regardless of their location.

The launch marks a new development in Uganda’s enterprise connectivity market as satellite internet increasingly emerges as an alternative for businesses seeking reliable broadband beyond conventional fixed and mobile networks.
