Pooh Shiesty Says The CIA Is Behind His Problems, Not Gucci Mane Case

Pooh Shiesty believes the CIA has entered the mix as it relates to his federal case involving Gucci Mane.

The Memphis rapper can reportedly be heard speaking from federal custody on audio incorporated into his new album, All Eyes on Shiest. Whoa. Shiesty seems convinced something much larger is happening like old school COINTELPRO.

He described his situation as “bigger than the program” and seemingly blamed the CIA for his current predicament. He also characterized his federal battle as feeling like “a pebble to a giant.”

Hmmm…OK.

Technically a pebble to a giant is a boulder to a regular sized person…nevermind.

Now, I have heard rappers blame managers, lawyers, labels, prosecutors, informants, jealous associates and even Mercury being in retrograde. The CIA is another level, especially when we discuss the case.

The rapper, whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr., faces federal kidnapping and robbery charges stemming from an alleged January 2026 incident at a Dallas recording studio. Prosecutors claim Shiesty, his father and others man-napped Gucci Mane and two associates at gat-point.

Authorities allege Gucci was held at gunpoint to force him to sign paperwork releasing Shiesty from his 1017 Global Music contract. If true that’s very illegal. Prosecutors also allege Gucci’s jewelry was taken during the encounter. I believe Gucci has refuted that, but he has enough money to buy some more.

Shiesty has pleaded not guilty.

His trial is now scheduled for February 22, 2027. Meanwhile, attempts to secure his release have failed miserably. His attorneys even proposed an elaborate $700,000 private security arrangement that would have provided around the clock monitoring. The judge still said no.

For fans of Pooh, there is a silver lining.
