NAZE make their Japanese debut with groovy nu-disco single ‘I LIKE IT’ — watch
NAZE have officially made their Japanese debut. On 14 September, the seven-member C9 Entertainment boy group released their first Japanese digital single, I LIKE IT, marking their first music release in Japan since making their official debut. The two-track single opens with 'I LIKE IT', a nu-disco-influenced dance-pop number that pairs tropical instrumentation with vintage guitar, groovy bass, and rhythmic drums. Lyrically, the track embraces the little things that make someone who they are — from being clumsy and worrying about what others think to trying to play it cool. I LIKE IT also features 'HARMONY', a funky guitar-led dance-pop track built around the idea of “different notes, one harmony,” reflecting the seven members coming together through their individual differences. The Japanese release follows NAZE's appearance in TBS drama DREAM STAGE and the release of their self-titled Korean debut mini album, NAZE. The group — KAISEI, YOUNKI, ATO, TURN, YUYA, KIMKUN, and DOHYEOK — officially debuted on 4 May. They also received the ENA Rising Star award at the KPOP UP CHARTSHOW.
