The Communications and Information Technology Authority (CITC) in Kuwait has launched the “Arqami” service through the Unified Government Application for E-Services, Sahel, in collaboration with telecommunications operators in the country.
The new service allows citizens and residents to view all telephone numbers and telecommunications services registered under their names across different telecom companies through a single digital platform.
According to the Authority, the initiative is part of its broader efforts to accelerate digital transformation while strengthening consumer protection and digital privacy.
By giving users direct access to information linked to their identities, the service is expected to make it easier for individuals to verify their registered telecommunications services, identify inaccuracies and ensure their personal information is properly recorded.
The Authority said the initiative also aims to improve digital awareness and promote greater transparency in the management of personal data.
The launch reflects Kuwait’s continued adoption of technology-driven government services, with the Authority emphasising the use of secure and reliable digital solutions to improve interactions between citizens, residents and public institutions.
CITC encouraged users to check their registered telephone numbers through the Sahel application following the launch to verify the accuracy of their personal information.
