By Zoila Palma: Following an armed robbery that occurred this morning at CS Energy in Santa Elena, Cayo, the company has now implemented a new “No motorcycle” policy.
The company said that “effective immediately, customers on motorbikes will NOT be allowed on the premises or served at any location including Belmopan, Santa Elena and Belize.”
Residents in the immediate area have expressed concern following a recent spike in criminal activity in San Ignacio and Santa Elena and frequently by armed thieves on motorcycles.
