FBI adds gangster Goldy Brar to 10 most wanted list
The United States law enforcement agency increased the reward to $1 million from $50,000 for information leading to his arrest.

The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation on Monday added fugitive gangster Satinderjeet Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, to its 10 most wanted list.
The agency also increased the reward to $1 million from $50,000 for information leading to his arrest.
Brar is wanted for his alleged involvement in the Lawrence Bishnoi organised crime group, which is accused of violent crimes in southern California, and across the US and Canada, the FBI said.
He is alleged to be a leader of the group in North America.
The FBI said that Brar is considered armed and dangerous and an escape risk. The law enforcement agency warned the public to “avoid interaction” with him.
The US authorities have charged Brar with conspiracy to run a criminal organisation, extortion-related offences and drug trafficking.
A federal arrest warrant was issued for Brar on July 1, and charges against him were announced on July 7 as part of a wider crackdown on three India-based gangs.
One of the indictments focuses on the Bishnoi enterprise, a criminal organisation led by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
According to the indictment, Brar allegedly helped Bishnoi direct members and associates of the organisation around the world.
The indictment also alleges that Bishnoi and Brar ordered the 2023 killing of Khalistani separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada.
