Dreams Resorts and Spas is expanding its MasterChef Junior experience, adding new food, drinks and hands-on culinary activities for families at select resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico.
The new program, called MasterChef Junior: Next Course, is an expansion of the resort brand’s collaboration with the popular television cooking competition, with a particular focus on getting children into the kitchen during their vacation.
The experience includes the return of the Mystery Box Challenge, along with poolside pop-ups and new dishes created by MasterChef Junior Season 9 winner Bryson McGlynn and finalist Remy Powell.
McGlynn has created a limited-edition menu centered on Southern-inspired comfort food, while Powell has developed a collection of desserts drawing on Italian, French, Mexican and Asian flavors.
There are also two new alcohol-free drinks created by the young chefs: McGlynn’s Berry Breeze and Powell’s Resort Refresher.
One of the biggest additions is a family cooking class, where parents and children prepare McGlynn’s Street Corn Dip together. Dreams says the broader culinary programming is designed to introduce younger travelers to new ingredients, cuisines and cooking techniques.
The MasterChef Junior activities are complimentary for guests as part of Dreams’ all-inclusive program.
The experiences are currently offered at select Dreams resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean, with the company continuing to expand the refreshed Next Course program to additional properties throughout 2026.
Dreams Resorts and Spas is part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection.
