By Zoila Palma: The Belmopan City Council’s Climate Action & Environment Solutions (CAES) Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Wellness, has launched a dengue prevention clean-up campaign in the Salvapan area.
The campaign aims to reduce mosquito breeding sites by removing discarded materials and containers that can collect stagnant water, particularly as dengue cases continue to rise.
Residents are being encouraged to support the initiative by keeping their surroundings clean and eliminating potential breeding sites around their homes and communities.
