Belizean nurse battling serious heart condition appeals for help with pacemaker

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans are being asked to come together to help Nurse Rosaria Aranda, who is battling dilated cardiomyopathy and needs financial assistance for a pacemaker, medication and related medical expenses.

According to a fundraising appeal being circulated on her behalf, Aranda has an ejection fraction of 18 percent and her doctors have recommended a pacemaker to help regulate her heart and improve her quality of life.

She also requires ongoing medication as part of the management and treatment of her condition.

The appeal describes Aranda as a caring and compassionate nurse who has dedicated herself to helping others and is now in need of support from the wider community.

Funds raised will go directly toward the cost of the pacemaker, medications and other related medical expenses.
