By Zoila Palma: The National Celebrations Commission is preparing to host the fifth annual Belize Creative Youth Ideas Summit, providing young Belizeans with a platform to share their perspectives and present bold ideas for the country’s future.
Through the theme Belize@45, the summit will bring young people together to collaboratively explore a key question: If Belize is 45 today, what should Belize look like five years from now at Belize@50? The initiative aims to encourage creativity, innovation and youth participation in shaping the nation’s development.
The Belize@45 Creative Youth Ideas Summit will take place on September 8, 2026, creating an interactive space for young Belizeans to imagine the Belize they want to build.
